Prices

We try to make sure that the prices on our website are accurate but errors may occur. If we discover an error in pricing of the goods in your order we will inform you as soon as possible using the contact details you supply us and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. (If we are unable to reach you we will treat the order as cancelled). In the event of an order being cancelled, any payment made for the goods will be refunded in full. All offers are available while stocks last. If we are unable to supply a particular item which you have ordered or if the correct price for an item is different from the price on your order, we will notify you as soon as we can after receiving your order. If this happens, you may cancel your order and we will refund you any money which you have paid. You will be notified of the delivery costs automatically before you submit your credit card details. Unless previously advised, a signature will be required upon receipt of the parcel(s).

Payment

You can pay in salon  for tretaments, vouchers & retail products. All services & products should be paid at the end of the service before leaving the salon. Payment for vouchers pay on-line with PAYPAL To ensure that shopping on-line is secure, your credit/debit details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of someone being able to read your details as they are sent to us over the Internet. Orders placed by phone and paid for by credit or debit card will only be processed once payment has been received and cleared.

Returns

We believe that you will be very happy with your product but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. If you are in any way dissatisfied with your purchase you may return it to us at your cost within 7 days, in the same condition that it was delivered and packed in its original packaging, for a refund or replacement. if the product is not in fully saleable condition we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item. In the event of goods arriving damaged or not as ordered, please inform us within 24 hours and we will be happy to replace them. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Unwanted Goods

You may cancel your online order for any reason at any time up to and including 7 days from the date of purchase provided you have taken reasonable care of the products. We will require you to pay for the return postage of the goods. You will be responsible for the item or items until they reach us. For your own protection, we suggest you use a secure delivery method which requires a signature upon delivery such as Royal Mail First Class (Recorded Delivery). Gift Voucher purchases will not be refunded.

Our responsibility

We will not be responsible for any losses resulting from your use or the inability to use our website or resulting from unauthorised access to, or alteration of your transmissions or data in circumstances which are beyond our control. We will not be responsible for your loss of profits, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data or any other loss which does not directly result from something we have done wrong. You will be responsible if you use this website in breach of these terms of use and using this web site you agree to reimburse us for any loss that you cause us as a result of any such misuse. We make no promise that our website will be uninterrupted or entirely error free. Because of the nature of the Internet, the shopping online service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We are not responsible to you if we are unable to provide our Internet services for any reason beyond our control. We will use the information which you provide and the records of items you buy to constantly monitor and improve our service and for marketing purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Your appointments are reserved especially for you, we understand that sometimes schedules adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations.

STRICT AND ENFORCED 24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY!

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago.  Since the services are reserved for you personally, a Cancellation fee will apply. We confirm your appointment via a text, which we will ask for your mobile number. Failure to give such information & no show of your appointment will lead to a 50% of serviced booked.

  • Less than 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
  • “NO SHOWS” will be charged 50% of the reserved service amount.  This also includes bookings using a voucher
  • Appointments made within the 24 hour period and need to cancel, the client then must cancel within 4 hours of appointment time or will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
  • Any multiple services or combos must have a 50% non-refundable deposit Multiple services or combos not cancelled 24hours in advance will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. RITUAL DAYS will require FULL payment before the day.

The cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability, thus better serving everyone. The Retreat policies are presented and provided in the best quality and tradition of excellent servicing for our established and future clientele. Gift Vouchers – Have a 6 Month Expiry.

What happens if my gift card is lost, stolen or damaged?- Unfortunately we are unable to  re-issue another voucher.

REFUND POLICY FOR RETAIL ITEMS*

We always want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases from both the Salon and our store but when things don’t go to plan, remember we are here to help, below is our refund policy for retail items but if in doubt drop by or give us a call!

Returns

Our policy lasts 28 days. If 28 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging complete with the receipt.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Such as lipsticks, eye and skin products where seals have been broken and opened. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods.

Any Items returned opened and without receipt will only be returned or exchanged at the managers discretion.

Reactions to products – if you have had a reaction from one of our products. Please return it, in its original packaging & proof of purchase. We will send it back to the relevant Product house & wait for their response. Once the product house has confirmed he receipt of your product we will then issue a credit note to the value of the returned products.

Additional non-returnable items:

Sale, discontinued, discounted, Old stock products.

Gift cards

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 28 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 working days subject to customer and client banks and their processing times and policies.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email to Rrertreatoadby@gmail.com and send your item to by registered post to: The Retreat Beauty salon, 54 london road Oadby LE2 5DH

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £80, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

*This Policy does not cover Beauty Therapy treatments (Massage, Waxing etc) Please ask at reception regarding our refund policy for Beauty Therapy Treatments.

Purchase of Ritual day experience

Our Rituals are to be paid in full prior to your experience. We will keep your card details in a safe place,  once you have had your day with us we will discard of them appropriately

Reservations and Payment

ii) In the event of an unsecured reservation, the full price of the inclusive cost of the day experience will be payable on arrival.

iii) Cheques are no longer accepted.

Iv) we do not allow a a credit account or tab

v) Optional gratuity on services can be given, however only in cash & not on card payment.

vi) All prices, where applicable, are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. We reserve the right to amend prices where there is a change in VAT.

Cancellations, Amendments or Postponements

vii) In the event of cancellation, amendment or postponement, the following scale of charges will be applicable (where we are unable to recover our losses at fully booked):

  • 1 month’s notice or more: £25.00 per person administration fee. The remaining deposit will be refunded.
  • 14 days to 1 month’s notice: full deposit retained.
  • Less than 14 days notice or failure to arrive: full deposit retained plus additional charge to cover the inclusive cost of the day e.g food & drink orders We reserve the right to use the credit/debit card held on behalf of the booking to cover the additional charge.

viii) R Retreat reserves the right at all times to cancel, modify or terminate a reservation in the event there are serious grounds for doing so. We will contact you in such circumstances and deal with any losses incurred in accordance with your legal rights.

Privacy policy

No data provided on the site by you is supplied to third parties in anyway. We may change or withdraw any part of our website, or may refuse you access to the website at any time if we consider it necessary. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
